SPRING is a great time to visit this unique area of Britain. With many previous visits GREENSPACES will show you the best it has to offer, from the whispering reedbeds of the levels to the recently created Steart Coastal Marshes.
Bitterns, Egrets, Cranes, Harriers, and maybe an Otter if we are lucky. We are bound to see Hobbies chasing the myriad of Dragonflies and Damselflies. Whilst a visit to a noisy heronry in a local wood with a carpet of spring flowers is always a treat not to be missed.
Based centrally in Bridgewater we will find the best that the area has on offer, maybe take a ride on the West Somerset Heritage Railway, take in a glass of scrumpy or even a cream tea.
