Join us in the vastly underrated county of Lincolnshire, with many reserves under the management of Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and the wader capital of Britain at RSPB Frampton where up to 26 species of wader can be seen in a single day at this time of year..
We will go to a high tide wader roost and have literally thousands of birds right in front of us, many still in their breeding finery.
We will visit a local reserve where up to 29 species of butterfly are recorded on an annual basis. A visit to a famous wildflower meadow in the Lincolnshire Wolds will also be taken in, maybe if you are into your dragonflies, a local reserve has just achieved accreditation from the British Dragonfly Society as a specialist site. So if you enjoy all aspects of nature in a quiet setting this break is for you.
Accomodation is at the local Redhouse Farm BnB with whom we work in partnership this is just a short walk from Whisby Nature Reserve close to Lincoln.
