The Wild Bears of Finland in the Autumn

6th to 12th SEPTEMBER 2020

Register and book early as this trip will fill fast

Having been here in the summer to observe and photograph Europe’s largest mammals, one cannot recommend this experience highly enough. In northern Finland close to the Russian border you will find the highest density of these amazing creatures in Europe. Autumn is the best time to observe them as they are more active as they forage and feed up prior to winter hibernation amidst a kaleidoscope of incredible colours. Throw in the chance of Wolverine, Wolf and Red Fox along with opportunities to see and photograph many species of birds it really is a special experience.

With a selection of up to 30 hides accommodating 1-3 persons to choose from it is possible to get some incredible photos providing concentration and silence is maintained whilst in them.
Before using the hides a Wild Bear briefing is given so that you may familiarise yourself with all activities. At this time of the year it can be quite chilly in the hides so warm clothing is required.
