ISLAY and JURA

Geese, otters, Deer, Seals and Whisky

Sunday 4th to Friday 9th October 2020.

Join us on our trip from a central meeting place close to Glasgow. You will be escorted via the beautiful scenery of Argyll and Bute to the ferry at Kennacraig. The ferry is just the start of the journey with Divers, waders and many seabirds to be seen as we make our crossing (it is generally calm at this time of the year.) On the island of Islay (the Queen of the Isles ) we should see all or most of the following ;-Otter, Seals, Red Deer, Eagles, Harriers, Chough, Wildfowl – by the thousands particularly Geese, Waders and whatever decides to be there. We will take coffee at some great locations and will make sure we have time to visit one of the famous Islay distilleries (samples included.) There are great photo opportunities that you will not want to miss.
